Dawn L. Tucker
possesses a wide variety of business management experience including accounting, finance and federal government contracting. She possesses over 20 years experience in the business management arena. Her successful career included positions in the public and private sectors during and before she and her associate started The Tucker Group in 1993 – a business development and consulting company.
Ms. Tucker was chosen to participate in two management development programs one in each the private and public sectors. She successfully completed the Westinghouse financial management development program in 1990 and the federal government’s prestigious Presidential Management Intern (PMI) program in 1996. As a PMI, she completed high level management projects for the Small Business Administration (SBA), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and National Aeronautic Services Administration (NASA) during her two year tenure.
Ms. Tucker received her undergraduate degree, a BBA with a concentration in accounting, in 1989 from Loyola College in Baltimore, MD. She completed her masters program, a Masters of Public Management (MPM) with a concentration in public and private sector financial management, at the University of Maryland (UMCP) in 1994. Ms. Tucker also completed the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam in 1992.
H. Lee Tucker, Jr.
has extensive experience in business ownership and entrepreneurship. In 1993, he started the Tucker Group, a business development and consulting firm. Mr. Tucker also has training in franchise development. Mr. Tucker has over 20 years of experience working in the engineering, training and project management arena for a major government contractor. Lee was responsible for managing DoD Contracts ranging from $11 million to $400 million dollars.
Mr. Tucker received his engineering associate degree from Roane State Community College in 1986. He completed his undergraduate degree, Industrial Engineering, in 1989 from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Mr. Tucker was also successful on the athletic field. Lee played football for the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He was also heavily recruited for basketball by schools such as Cornell, Princeton, Washington State, Nebraska, UC Santa Barbara and the United States Military Academy.
